Abstract


This research aims to determine the relationship of perceived risk and level of income to the purchase intention of general insurance product. This research was conducted on one of the youth organization located in Jakarta named Remaja Islam Masjid Cut Meutia (RICMA). The variables used in this research were independent variables i.e. the purchase intention and perceived risk the dependent variables were the purchase intention of general insurance product.The results and conclusions in this research show that a partial test (t test) for the perceived risk (X1) relates to a purchase intention of general insurance product (Y) this is prove with a significance t value of 0.000 < 0.05 and level of income (X2) related to purchase interest of general insurance product (Y) This is prove with a significance t value of 0.001 < 0.05. Simultaneous test (F test ) of perceived risk and level of income to purchase intention of general insurance product for the millennial’s in Jakarta, with F count is 16,009 > 4.072 F table, and the significance F value is 0.000 < 0.05 of the alpha value. The results of the analysis showed that in the coefficient of determination test (R Square) was obtained 0.330 o r 33.0% which means that the variable of perceived risk and level of income has a relation 33.0% to the buying interest and 67.0% others are influenced by many other factors that not described in this research.
