Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training and job promotions on employee job satisfaction. The method used in this study is quantitative, the results and conclusions of this study indicate that: Training (X1) has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Y) as evidenced by tcount > ttable (5,453 > 2,052). Furthermore Job Promotion (X2) has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Y) as evidenced by tcount > ttable (4,144 > 2,052). Then Job Training and Promotion simultaneously influence Employee Job Satisfaction. This can be seen in the value of Fcount > Ftable (115,460 > 3,35). From the results of processing and computerization using the SPSS program the coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0,895 was obtained. This shows that Job Satisfaction (Y) can be influenced by Training (X1) and Job Promotion (X2) of 0,895 or 89,5%. While the remaining 0,105 or 10,5% is influenced by other factors not included in the study. Keywords: Training, Job Promotion, Job Satisfaction
