Abstract


PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia run into reduction in production output via property insurance brokers during the 2014 – 2018 period. At the beginning of this period, the sales were at Rp488.414.000.000,00 and relatively continued to decline until the end of period at Rp339.763.000.000,00. As a growing company, the reduction in production output is not something expected. This thesis is descriptive research and uses qualitative approachment. The main goal of this thesis is giving a description about the condition of marketing unit of PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia for property insurance via broker. The result of qualitative analysis using SWOT method aims to find out a strategic plan that can be implemented by marketing unit of PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia to increase their production output of property insurance via broker. This thesis concludes that marketing unit of PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia has more advantages, both internally and externally. Therefore, there need to be an aggressive business move by having more intensive evaluation, creating a mapping of cooperating brokers’ strength, improve good relation with cooperating brokers, and doing a market expansion.
